Lancaster City launches Match Day Bar Passport for World Cup 2026
LANCASTER, Pa., April 7, 2026 — Soccer fans are invited to experience the energy of the World Cup through a new, citywide initiative with the launch of the Match Day Bar Passport in Lancaster.
Designed to celebrate international soccer while supporting local businesses, the program encourages participants to visit 16 bars and restaurants throughout the city during World Cup matches. Participants who complete their passports and submit them to the Lancaster City Welcome Center by Aug. 10, 2026, will be entered to win a $250 Visa gift card. Passports also include coupons and promotions at select locations.
Passports will be available for purchase beginning April 10 at 10 a.m. The passports can be purchased online for $5 and picked up at the official World Cup watch party on Friday, June 12, or at the Lancaster City Welcome Center beginning Saturday, June 13. They will also be available for purchase at those locations while supplies last. Only 750 will be available.
The city will also host a public watch party in Ewell Plaza and Binns Park on Friday, June 12, from 6 to 11 p.m. in partnership with Michelob Ultra and the One World Festival. The free event will feature a live broadcast of the U.S. vs. Paraguay match at 9 p.m., along with food trucks, a beer garden, live music, dance performances, youth activities and interactive soccer programming.
