RFQ issued for VisionCorps mural

LANCASTER, Pa., April 13, 2026 — VisionCorps, in partnership with the City of Lancaster Office of Public Art, has issued a request for qualifications (RFQ) for a mural artist or artist team to create a large-scale public artwork at its headquarters, 244 N. Queen St.

The commission is open to professional artists 18 and older. Preference is given to artists who live in or near Lancaster County, but all artists may apply. The selected artist will design and install a mural of approximately 1,000 square feet on the exterior of the VisionCorps building as part of the organization’s 100th anniversary.

Application materials must include a statement of interest, resume and three to five examples of relevant past work. Submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. May 3. Full project details and specifications are available in the RFQ at cityoflancasterpa.gov/office-of-public-art.
