Full-time employment opportunity – public works operator/laborer

Warwick Township is seeking a qualified applicant for the full-time position of Public Works Operator/Laborer. The Operator/Laborer is a member of a team which is responsible for the construction and maintenance of Township property including roads, parks, buildings, and equipment.
 
 The qualified applicant should have a minimum of one year’s experience in Public Works, or a construction related field and basic knowledge of construction practices, trench work, and mechanics. This individual must be available for on-call during the winter months as evening/weekend hours will be required.

This position provides year-round employment, an excellent benefit package and a starting rate based upon the individual’s skills and knowledge.

Successful applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid PA Driver’s License, and be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical including drug screening, a Criminal Background Check, and a Motor Vehicle Records Check. Candidates must also possess reliable transportation and live within 30 minutes of the Township.
