City of Lancaster announces opening of the outdoor winter market at Ewell Plaza
LANCASTER, Pa., Nov. 20, 2025 – The City of Lancaster will host its inaugural Outdoor Winter Market at Ewell Plaza from Nov. 28 through Dec. 21. The market will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with free admission. The event is organized in partnership with K Marketing Co and is sponsored by Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health.
Visitors can browse handcrafted goods and unique holiday gifts from various artisan vendors. The market will feature rotating daily food truck selections, including Mocha Motion Coffee, Walk-O Taco, Mr. Mini’s Tasty Donuts, Flavor Latino, Nano Burger, Cousins Maine Lobster, Nil’s Funnel Cakes and Pappy’s BBQ. Music for Everyone will provide live entertainment at the market on weekends.
Opening day for this new seasonal attraction will coincide with the Mayor’s Tree Lighting on Black Friday.
“The new Outdoor Winter Market at Ewell Plaza is a festive addition to our Lancaster City for the Holidays lineup,” Mayor Danene Sorace said. “It’s another chance to enjoy the holiday spirit downtown while showing support for local makers and small businesses.”
During First Friday on Dec. 5, there will be extra holiday fun at the market, including a holiday singalong trolley, the Rural City Beer Garden, a performance by the Street Beans at Binns Park and free photos with Santa.
